    Default Enhancement squeeze

With the new update, I could really use about double the enhancement points. Here's what I'm considering.

I'm a ninja spy, lvl 15. I took (along with the prereqs) ninja 2, ToD, unbalancing strike, halfling cunning/guile 3, crane 2, and t3 wind. I actually use fire stance most of the time because I really need the ki, but I was wondering if it's worth the enhancement points to get the higher fire stances. I don't think I'd use the fire strikes that much. I could instead take the void strikes and/or earth (I have the con for grandmaster earth), but it seems odd staying in the first tier of fire stance while taking all those other things. If I had the points, I'd also love to take hero's companion also, but I don't think I can fit it in.

I've heard the ki situation actually gets better when mobs start having massive hp and a stunned mob fills your bar, but I'm not there yet. Without fire I don't seem to have enough for ToD, stuns, QP, and so on.

At 18, you can get Oremi's neck which gives +1 ki per hit. When my acrobat monk got that, I was able stay primarily in wind stance but have almost the same amount of ki that sun stance was generating. The monk capstone grants increased ki generation as well. If you don't already, you should be alternating stances when engaging mobs through a quest. Basically, use the small encounters to charge up your ki bar so that you've got plenty to go when you run into a bigger bunch. Finally, if you're in a high DPS group that's decimating mobs, it's pretty hard to generate ki even in sun stance. Let the group know that you want to off-tank one or two mobs for ki.

A solution for your current situation untill you get higher ki generation (presuming your able to re-spec your enchancements)

Drop wind, and take fire/earth instead. Stay in fire stance for the ki, use earth strikes/ToD/Stun for damage.
