    Default Unable to load - Examine Game Date

    Been running fine until today when I started the game and got to the character selection screen. Chose my character and DDO hung. So bad in fact that I couldnt close it even with Task Manager. Had to reboot and now DDO fails on the "Examine Game Data" with message "An update error ocurred: Unspecified patch error".

    Any ideas how I recover?

    Give the steps here a run-through but if it keeps up definitely open a tech support request if you haven't already.

    After contacting support, log into your email webpage to add noreply@turbine.com and accountsupport@turbine.com to their "safe senders" list and your contacts list/address book. Be sure to check Spam/Junk Mail folders as well since most email providers do not let external email programs or cell phones download mail flagged this way.
