not sure what to do

need some help. I have a 7th level paladin which i enjoy playing. i decided to buy points over the july 4th weekend. I bought the +2 superior tome. I was wondering what would be the best class and the best race to be. I tried playing a human rouge and didnt find much out of the charactor except could open locks and find didden passages, but seemed to die alot, and made it to 4th level before moving on. I also just recently gave up on a 4th level human wizzard. enjoyed playing, but with the low hit points just ended up dieing to much. I knew if I could make it to a higher level then could start to enjoy the better spells. Just couldn't make it. I have always played a fighter class since i could remember, miss the rolling of the dice. getting off track. Just was looking for some advice on the best way to spend my points. I have already purchased the favored soul class because it was on sale, and is it a one time use or do I have it as long as i continue with my account. thanks for any help

Don't dump Con, on any class. Have at the minimum 14 base con, and take toughness.

As for favored soul, since you seem to like hitters, go Lord of Blades WF Favored Soul. Put your build points into Str and Con, with enough Cha to cast spells.

i have been trying to figure out the best charactor for me to play. I really think i will enjoy the wf and favored soul because i like my paladin, i just wish could do more and i feel that i can get that with the wf and favored soul. any more information on the way to build my stats, I do have a +2 superior tome that i could use when i get to 7th level. I have a WF FvS, and I love him. You can be fully capable healer and good melee. I would go something like this build http://forums.ddo.com/showthread.php?t=211596 but dump Dex, and go a touch more Cha/Con
