I was yelled at and called names by a pug cleric for wearing heavy fort robe instead of "real armor".
True story.

OK, fine, you called me out. I admit.
It was my fault. You see, I should have been there. I was on my cleric. I was in game. I was running a quest.
It's my fault that I was 15 (at that point) levels higher than you, in an Abott raid, and on the wrong server.
I'm sorry. I apologize. It won't happen again.
Next time, I'll be in the right party in the right quest on the right server and make sure that EVERYTHING dies.
Even my party.
Archangels
Pwesiela - Completionist Arcane Archer; Pia - Silver Flame Assassin; Aes - of the Blue Ajah; Insene - Deathpriest; Enaila - Aiel Bodyguard; Uduk - Dwarven Meatwall; Vitalien -Warder
The closest I ever came to a similar story was when my cleric received a blind invite while soloing. I clicked "Accept", then continued on my merry way.
I got rather involved in the quest I was doing, and so wasn't paying much attention to the party chat. I had to resist the urge to press F2-6 and cast heal as their health bars dropped, but I managed to restrain myself.
I wonder if they were blaming me?
"I require a reminder as to why raining arcane destruction is not an appropriate response to all of life's indignities" - Vaarsuvius, OoTS #674
A good one was when I was getting low on SP because of a couple sponges on my FvS. I typed into chat because I have no mic, "I'm personally going to be heading for the shrine instead of stopping for any additional optionals because I'm getting close to OOM."
Out of the other five party members consisting of a rogue, a fighter, a barbarian, and two rangers... only the rogue and the fighter paid attention to that. So I go on my merry way to the shrine to charge back up. Suddenly HP bars start dropping followed by several "Ding!" as the three wayward melee get in over their head and fail to extract themselves. Of the three, the barbarian lasted the longest. The two rangers apparently couldn't even wand whip themselves while running around to try to stay alive.
And the funny thing is, the barb says to leave their stones there because they failed to heal him let alone themselves.
me : hey there is a trap there.
Rogue : It's ok i have improved evasion.
DING!
me: here's a rez for the laugh
We were running Tempest for GR. I had a tank zerging and running out of the line of sight. I res him about 3 times and he was very proud of been first in kills.
How many hitpoints you have? I asked "200 hp he said" and Why are you zerging? "because I am a fighter"
We enter the boss part and he died almost instantly. I took care of the remaining party and finished the quest.
I res him so he can loot. "'why you did not res me before? and I said "I got a 3 strikes you are out policy"
Everybody laugh and for some reason he left without claiming loot. He had the highest kill count.
Mental note: Do not blame the cleric for my own shortcomings
last night i had an epic moment XDDD
house K, that quest is on the north west corner, dont remember the name right now, the one is for some duergars and fire elementals.
ok, i join the pug throught the O panel and said i was omw and i swear 20 secs later 2 guys die and said .. "where is the f*** cleric?" i just loled and respond i was omw so dont zerg in stupidly without me there and I get droped out XDDDDD
was epic really epic haha at least i save my repair costs of go with such of *ppl*
Of course it's a cleric's fault. Clerics exist to die for our sins (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WlBiLNN1NhQ). Next time prepare any cleric to fulfilling the duty by crucifying him/her. ,)
This is my personal pet peeve as well...
I even have it written in my bio.
"If you don't feel like healing a WF barbarian, that's your choice. Just don't expect me to use my multiple stacks of pots to carry your sorry ass through the quest.
Respect my resource usage and I'll respect yours."
Even with that in the bio, dunno how many times I've ran into a "healer" that said they couldn't/wouldn't heal me and expected me to pay for resources they used on other party members.
Mror Hold, 2nd in command - Thelanis
Why am I a disgruntled vet? I could care less about nerfs, if the rest of the update worked.
I hate epic, GSF !="generalist wizard", and my raid loot luck still *'in sucks.
Everyone knows it's always the pure rogue's fault.
an SP line there remember another last night to XDDD
ataraxia, the duergar mines quest.
we was doing on elite and all goes fine.
1 timy tank donig well and using his shild o.O hehe the rest doing their nukes and goes smooth.
on the last named duergar things goes crazy. the ranger AA dies drowing the aggro from tank and i was trying to heal all around and well i depleted my SP. after the fight just the ranger die and he said.
ranger: plz rezz me now.
I cleric: how it look my blue bar ? r u checked?
he apologize and someone else pick the stone and we all go to the shine. was hillarius.
I have run a couple of clerics at all levels in lots of pugs so I have heard my share of the complaints, but the best was when a zerging barb kept telling me to stop using mass command because it took all the fun out of running ahead and killing the mobs. Of course when I stopped doing it he ran ahead and died faster than I could heal him.

It is funny at how many people don't even notice there is no healer in group... they just expect there is one.
