I lost my +3 tomes. Reported as a bug (I hope)

Anyone else only showing +2 bonuses after they resurrected?

Sure, I don't show mine.

Until I hit the minimum level for their application, that is.

What level did you reincarnate from/to and how long ago did you loot the tomes in question?

What level is your character?

Just to make sure, if you character is < 11 the +3 won't show up until you hit level 11.

There are tomes out there (old ones only?) with no level requirement, but the res system can't know when you used the tome, so it just assumes +1 at level 3, +2 at level 7, and +3 at level 11 .

If you are above or equal to 11, then yeah, sounds like a bug

the effects of tomes were changed when reincarnation was introduced. Basically in order for the system to work, they had to basically do away with no ml tomes(all tomes were changed), and when reincarnating tomes would gradually apply as you lvl so +1 will apply at lvl3, +2 at lvl 7, and +3 will apply at lvl 13.

Hey Guys

I lesser res. two different capped toons with +3 tomes from the shroud (for example).

They do not show up as +3 inherent bonuses on my char. sheet. All I show are the +2's for all stats.

I smell bug but not sure...

I LR'd my FS no problem +2 tomes where there.

I LR'd my 20th level monk and no +2 tomes at all ... ie no inherent bonus.

First I had to think whether this was correct as being half way through I couldn't stop and recheck. I then bought a new complete +2 tome set and ate them while still on the ship which it let me.

So yes OP ...... I think it is bugged in more ways than you have described.

Yep its a bug.

I have been playing for 3 years and my son is the only one to pull a plus 3 tome.

Me, Never.

Your post upsets me. I mean do the programmers of this game know what they are doing?

Since the update bugs are popping up like flies on you know what and lag is more rampant then before.

I feel your pain.

Must have messed something up with U5..as I have LR and GR'd chars with +3 tomes before this and it worked just fine.

Defintely would bug report it...sorry for you though,not that it helps much

Wait, if you use tomes, then TR reincarnate, you don't lose the tomes you've used? I've been avoiding using tomes because of this because I plan to TR after I hit 20.

There's a difference between TR and LR. In this case, they are speaking of Lesser Reincarnation - I think you do lose it all when you TR.

Ah okay. I ate (they actually eat it! lol) a +1 wis tome on my monk just to even out his wisdom. I didn't mind losing it when I TR because I already pulled another wis tome before that and +1s are pretty cheap anyway.

It would've been nice if TR lets you keep all your tomes though, so I can get my str/con up there right now instead of later :P.

Just so you all out there can shake your heads repeatedly...

1) I sent two in game help tickets. They were both closed immediately and I was told to go to customer service.
2) I submitted a bug report on line as told.
3) Today I get (what appears to be a form "letter") an email telling me to submit an in game ticket!

This is really just automation gone wild. This just isn't right - especially since I'm being told by two machines what to do.

Be careful. A pretend friend of mine hypothetically submitted a ticket about a shield that disappeared. Apparently (in theory, at least), they don't like when you submit a ticket more than once for the same issue, since they (hypothetically) banned his account for a week.

they did the same *&*& TO ME gord.My voice chat didnt work for 3 days,i ticket the gm,tells me they cant do anything and i need to e-mail tech support.they e-mail back 3 days later and tell me they cant do anything,i have to go in game and contact a gm.ty ddo.I think the gm's and tech support made a pact with each other to do this as protocol when they get complaints so people will just leave them alone and they can play wow all day instead of working :P
