    Smile Wizards and Sorcerors would rejoice...

    ...if they, like rangers and other ranged users, had a 'quiver' of sorts capable of holding either wands or scrolls.

    A wand quiver and a satchel-style scroll case are both core D&D items, both are very useful to the class in question (moreso to the pures of the class than splashes/multi-builds), and feature items that are often used but not necessarily first-line weapons (much like a ranger and his arrows/bow). The code would likely be very little different from the currently-existing quivers, and (like quivers) there is the opportunity to create different sizes of them (perhaps the largest would only be available in the DDO store and hold as many as a full inventory page of wands or scrolls?).

    Signed, a wizard who often uses almost 2 pages of inventory just in wands and scrolls alone.

    Everything about this idea is good, as far as I am concerned. This game is riddled with inventory annoyances which seem like they could be remedied without any imbalance issues.

    I play a rogue with UMD and which has an inventory full of wands & scrolls in addition to all of the weapons Ive got to carry. Even just shuffling all of this stuff around to try to keep it organized is a huge waste of game time. When you have to make new characters just to hold items, or use the mail system or auction house just to open up space so you can keep questing it shows a pretty major flaw in the way things are set up.

    a scroll and/or wand "quiver" would be very much welcome. To expand, the wands would suit a quiver more than scrolls I feel, so a wand quiver and a scroll case/bag along the lines of the collectables bag?

    Scroll scases at the very least, should be added.

    I can stack hundreds of arrows, but I can't stack hundreds of pieces of paper?!

    I think wand cases should be added to.

    And I would like to see potion bags and spell component puches as well.

    One reason is that I will never keep a random scroll or wand in my inventory. (with a few minor exceptions)
    Even if it is useful.....because I do not have the room for it.

    And that saddens me. To throw away loot, sometimes rare loot. Just because it is not useful enough to be worth taking up precious room in my inventory.

    Thumbs up

    I agree with this. My sorcerer has at least a page and a half of wands in her inventory, her bank is full of wands and they are spelling over into the shared bank. My other characters have even started carrying ones that they can use just to make space. Last time I took her out on a big adventure I was just burning wands because I needed to get rid of a few.

    My suggestions are for the following.

    * A wand quiever
    * A potion case
    * A scroll case.

    I have seen the last two in games like Baldur's Gate I, II and TOB, Icewind Dale I and II, even Never Winter Nights had some form of these I think.

    I will post this thread to my guild, I know they will do what they can to help.

    Honestly I would much rather have a way to quickly swap arrows out of quivers. It would go a long way to making ranged attacks less suck and more substance. Not that it is the only thing that needs to be done. But it needs to be done.

    Yeah, I would rejoice for my casters if I had a wand quiver, but it isn't a pressing concern of mine.

    i don't even play a caster but i think this is a good idea, i'd also say, add in potion slots on belts so we have a place to put those as well...

    At a minimum, to point at existing demonstration of technology already present, it'd be nice if wand charges stacked as they do during purchase (buy 2 repair mod wands, they show up under purchase as 1 100). wouldn't help so much with the typical rainbow of effects, but it would be one of those minor bag-savers when gearing up for long runs. (ok, it's likely alot more involved with that in the back end, but ya get the gist)

    It makes perfect sense for wands. Scrolls are maybe a little less necessary since they already stack. But it would be nice to organize your 100 stacks of scrolls like rolls of toilet paper. Peel off a heal scroll from the roll as needed to (prevent a) wipe.

    What? You want to get rid of the mini-game they give you for free? Inventory Management is one of the best tests of your abilities and game knowledge! I kid, I kid. Also...

    I'm curious as to what your list of wands and scrolls is, and how you can find so many important ones that they fill 2+ bags of inventory. Even on my UMD rogue, I rarely had more than 12 stacks of scrolls or wands, and that included 3 stacks of heal scrolls.
