Default self-raise dead cakes now bind to character

    Hello,

I don't know if this was the full intent, or an unforseen side effect of the recent changes... But all of the self raise dead cakes are now bound to character...

I know why this was changed... The "New quest" (hate to call it a quest, as it really isn't) Old Sully's Grog... (I see what you are doing here turbine, be careful... A quest that cannot be completed without a store purchase...)

Ok, so the point of this quest, in case you are unaware of it yet, is to purchase some old sully's grog from the DDO store, and bring it to the dude on Korthos, who gives you a raise dead cake for the grog... (a 1 time completion quest). However, if said cakes were bound to account, it would be far too easy to Farm cakes and transfer them to other toons, thus negating the need to buy them... So you bind the cakes to character... ok...

The problem is that A: All cakes (ok, not sure about some of the higher versions of the cakes) are now bound to Character, Even those bought from the store. I'm sorry Turbine, but anything I buy from the Store to use should only be bound to account, this wasn't a smart move. B: there was no warning of said change, that I was aware of, and many of the people I play with also were unaware of the change. So like many, I now have a stack of raise dead cakes on a mule toon, who will never be played.

While I have no problem with the Birthday cakes becoming bound to character, as they were given to me, I'm not at all happy that the one I bought, are also bound to character. A little warning would have been nice.

Also, why not make just the one you get from old sully's grog bind to character, and not all of them... After all you do this with tomes all the time, Special end reward +2 tomes bind, but the standard +2s from chests don't.
(Say): Haywire says, '"Hey, I don't come into yer home and play with things."'

Default This discovery was very disappointig.

    First post.

    I don't complain very much.

It seems the travelers gift was just a loan.

I've got mules on three servers "left holding the bag" -Cakes I cant transfer to
the characters that could use them.

I agree with the OPs suggestion.
