Update 5 = Fail

I dont think its possible to be more embarrased about update 5. There are hundreds of millions of plat not accounted for, tens of thousands of items missing. Open a ticket they say check the forums.. Check the forums they say will be fixed in a future release.. LOL.. Admit you dont know whats wrong, everyone is going to lose their stuff. Trying to use Two weapons is ******** now. If you move with a 2 hander you might as well not even swing. Everyone should just quit their avatar and create monks.

My suggestion is roll back all changes other then the Airship and keep plat as currency. Update 5 is such a fail there is no point to even argue with this post. Lots of my friends quit because a few people at DDO ate dumbtarded sandwich's before making changes to melee.

Keep up the good work.. Maybe Update 6 we will get a text string search in the Auction House

I have to agree with the other replies. The roll out for this update was FAR from perfect but I think the good so far outweighs the bad.

As long as new players dont have a good reason other than their own incapabilities to think "What a stupid game" after 2 minutes of playing it remains a good game.

You lost some DPS because of the update? Guess what, everyone did. But i hardly see anyone who would call the game broken because of that.

You lost some items at the ah? Whatever, me too!

That sort of things happen, the DEVs are still only human beings and make mistakes, they can't consider every little impact theyr updates may cause by mistake.

Still i enjoy playing this game. It's the best free MMORPG i know. And no update will change that.

If you can't life with those "OMGFAILBUGBOOUPDATES" go play some other game until that one gets updated too one day...

You Forum lovers are sad.. .. It's my guess, your such brown nosers, that if someone from DDO dev would go to your house and punch you in the face you most likely would have the overwhelming urge to thank them. Keep drinkin the Koolaid.

It's okay for people to be mad, it's okay to say update 5 was one of the worst DDO failures to date with 100% accuracy. There are a couple great things they did in Update 5. You dont have to get your panties in such a bunch. Half the people who responded to this thread didnt lose millions in plat, and in fact, it is doubtful you have even seen a million, nor do any of you most likely have any level 20 characters with VIP access.

Because DDO didnt listen to the thousands of people during the Lamania beta run of update 5 they decided instead, to make changes without regard to their customer base. This will lead to DDO failure when Diablo III comes up "free" in 2012.

DDO is still the best "free" game out there, even with the stupid decisions the development team made to break combat.

If you could read and werent such a suckup, you would realize the suggestion is to rollback (not that you even know what that means) update 5 so people can get all their items back. I'm sorry... but you must have been diagnosed as slow at a young age. If you actually read (considering your join date and your post count) other than your tantrum in this thread you would notice that it is quite full of whiners and there is probably 400% the complaints to the likes on here.

U5 has bugs, but all games do. My last MMO would randomly lock my account out of the game at least once every 2 weeks for a day or two (until a GM fixed it). "Bugs happen."

I can't say I have any level 20 VIP characters, but I do have 12 or so level 20 premium characters out of the 17 characters I have on Khyber (since your new OP, you might want to ask how exactly one gets 17 character slots prior to EU launch).

You are not top tier in this game. You probably aren't even top of the bottom tier....

Your accomplishments have been achieved by most of the forum posters before you, and for most of them, it was done long ago. So take your "uber" self to another game where they might believe how "cool" you are...... db.
