lol ya its still nice to see a new player jump for joy when given something new. i gave a ten year old kid a portable hole and the plat to get it the other day he was ecstatic. he never asked for it i just happened to see him talking in general chat and decided to help him out. o the other hand im still real bummed after spending over a million plat on the adopt a noob program to find him selling the stuff i was giving him thru the trad channel in marketplace

Formed four groups today for free F2P STK parties. It was allot of fun grouping with people who never did it before.
"Oooooo we get to climb down giant mushrooms, WOW!"

Only the last one got a little hairy. (One speed demon barb and some slower squishier types. All made it to the end though. All good players.)

Many, many Ring of feathers. (Two for me). It was lucky town in STK all day.

So let me get this straight.
You joined someone's group.
He was struggling a bit.
Rather then drop from the group you trick him into giving you the star and boot him from his own group.

Yeah, a no-minimum level Ring of Feathers that you could pass back and forth to your lowbies until it perma-broke was made virtually obsolete by a no-minimum level Feather Falling Ring that you could put in your shared bank, and it never takes perma-damage.

I still have a soft-spot for that ring in my heart - it just doesn't extend to my pocketbook
