after his second response I'm not sure what you were looking for. he made it plain that he was happy with his guy, were you looking to get him kicked out of the guild? clearly that was not happening.

What did you expect? Did you want longshanks to go make him join your group again? Does he have to /emote cry to show he cares?
Making the thread is not going to change 95% of peoples minds here on Sarlona regardless, just be like the rest of the 5% and just don't group with people you have issues with.
Personally if I was a guild leader and someone ran to me about problems with guildies not inside the guild I wouldnt respond or I'd respond so I could get a good laugh at a griefer.

I would have *****ed you out before he did. You said the same thing like 6 times and he responded the same way, he obviously didn't care due to the fact that he had played with his guildy a lot more and longer...

not looking to get him booted at all, was looking to informing the guild leader that his guildy was giving his guild a bad name and then get these responces which I am deleting till I can edit better

Sorry, I meant within a guild member of same guild going to guild leader is fine, but when someone outside of guild comes to guild leader it probably wont matter regardless.

oh, it wont matter but if i am leading a guild and others i have talked to they like to know if a player is giving them a bad name

unfortunately for you, both these players have been in game for a long time.

My guess is your group was underpowered to some degree for the clerics liking. Said cleric has enough rep on the server that if he decides to drop group in the middle of a run, which he considers subpar, that its not going to bother him. Same for the guild.

I think the OP handled the situation correctly. He had a complaint against a player and went to that players guid leader. This is what someone is supposed to do. I don't understand why some people are saying he shouldn't. This is one of those headaches that being a guildleader entails. I think most guild leaders would like to hear this sort of stuff, rather than get broadsided by it after it builds out of control.

If it was me. I would have done the same thing. Depending upon the response/lack of response from the leader, I would blacklist the guild or just chalk it up to a bad day.

i thought thats how one was supposed to handle it as well, instead of coming directly on the forums /sigh ill just not group with said players i have ran with pleny of other members and they are great

Doing epic tides turns and its your average pug but got a nice set up
cleric
wizard
rogue
2 monks
1 fighter

during the first room that fight the cleric blows through all of his mana and saids guys im out of mana and promtly drops group
so while i have a healer who comes and go through without any resources i hunt down the leader of roving gunz and i get this reply


that one is circled because it struck me as wow, the LEADER from the respectable guild doesnt care

eh oh well glad that gimp run of ours got us a token/scrolls and we didnt have to carry the cleric but through there
guess i just wont group with this guy *shrug*

IMO you had either subpar group or lack of communication.
And we advice clerics not to burn plat on that kind of groups, and drop.

And yeah if i would burn through all my sp on trauma or ratrap in first room
of tide turns, it would be best for group if i dropped group, believe me.
Remmember that shrine is a loooonnngg hallway, 2 epic traps with mobs, Away.
And healing anyones shiny behind with scrolls is not as fun as it seems in epic.

as soon as the healer dropped we got another one and we did not use any resources at all and had no problems for the rest of the quest

even though the water elementals were difficult
