since update cant play

ok since U5 i have had all sorts of problems trying to play ddo. i click the icon and it launches to the point where i put in my password and hit enter. then the screen flickers for a second and i get a icon of the game on the taskbar and my cursor vanishes and screen locks up. to get cursor back i ctrl-alt-delete and when the taskmanager comes up i get cursor back but still cant get into game. i have removed the game twice and redownloaded but still no help. i have tried going to the turbine exe file but it says it has been moved and i cant find it anywhere. if anyone has a suggestion it will be appreciated.
