    Default Radiant Phoenix

    Adding radiant servant auras+devotion enhancements+fists of light+healing amplification=win

    This is of course after they fix it so you can attack with auras on.

    This build aims to provide middle DPS while being in the thick of fighting, benefiting others with healing auras and monk healing finishers (which especially benefit yourself), turning into a veritable fountain of constant healing. This is all IN ADDITION TO super burst healing from Heal spell, Cure Critical Wounds, Mass Cure Serious Wounds, and Mass Cure Critical wounds

    For damage relies on DM III, Divine Power, Divine Favor, and maximized blade barriers.


    Radiant Phoenix - 16/3/1 Cleric/monk/fighter, human

    Abilities
    (TR once)
    STR: 15 (3 level ups here)
    DEX: 15
    CON: 14
    INT: 8
    WIS: 14
    CHA: 14 (2 level ups here for DM III)

    Feats:
    0/1/0: Powerattack, toughness(monk), TWF (human)
    1/1/1: Empower Healing, Weapon Focus: Slashing (fighter)
    4/1/1: Whirling Steel
    7/1/1: ITWF
    7/2/1: Improved Critical: Slashing (monk)
    9/2/1: Maximize Spell
    11/3/1: GTWF
    13/3/2: Quicken Spell (or empower spell)

    Healing Amp
    10% monk, 30% human, 25% bracers = 179%
    Include dragon touched robes 10% and 20% = 236%
    Include triple positive longsword = 307%
    Include 3 Paladin past lives (yeah right!)= 353%

    So healing aura (if I understand it correctly) will do the following per tick.
    Base: 6 (18/3)
    With 40% devotion: 8
    75% from superior ardor pot:13
    Empower Healing (75%): 23

    So, 23 a tick, and with the 307% healing amp that is 71 a tick on yourself, with chances to crit!

    This is in addition to 53 HP light finishers that heal yourself for 165!

    I'm debating putting all 5 level up points into STR and forget about DM III, since I will be using auras for healing as well.

    Any thoughts? Corrections?

    I have a sneaking suspicion that the radiant servant may be getting negative changes. Just a hunch. But I'm usually called the pessimist. *shrug*

    The build looks good, and when (if) it is fixed so you may attack with auras on I see it being a fun character to be next to. Even better if it were a halfling.

    I was thinking though... What if instead it was a Paladin Hunter of the Dead 12, Cleric Radiant Servant 6, Rogue 2?

    But looking over the requirements that unfortunately wouldn't be possible. Both require Improved Turning so the overlap wouldn't work. I still like the idea of Paladin/Radiant Servant with rogue thrown in for evasion and possibly full ranks of intimidate to make good use of the charisma score. Paladin receives bonus turns at level 4, so I just see some synergy there.

    Anyways I wish you lots of luck on your TR.

    I need human for the healing amplification, and extra feat is nice to. I hope they don't nerf radiant servant, not like anyone is complaining it is too overpowered. Clerics are due for this love, now they just need to add domains.

    Paladin works well to and would be better DPS, but the healing aura is better if it gets to level 15 cleric, and level 15 cleric also allows for maximum damage blade barriers and more group burst healing with mass cures.

    I can't wait to see just how often green numbers flash on the screen between auras, mass cures, healing curse, and healing ki finisher.

    I planned out a build last week, but never posted it, so I guess you get to keep the name. =D

    Mine however was a bit different- 12 cleric/7 monk/ 1 fighter.
    I actually go with the monk Path of Inevitable Domination, and take Ninja Spy I for two reasons: Free shortsword use (Don't have to spend two feats for Whirling Steel Strike) and Shadow Fade (Easy to maintain 25% incorporeal miss chance).

    With only level 6 spells, mine wouldn't make a good raid healer (I'm planning it just to level up as a TR, then reincarnate right at 20 into the next life), while yours could still work out well if the people you were playing with knew you well enough to take you.

    Well, the name was inspired by your similarly themed Solar Phoenix build, so technically it is yours.

    Default another version

    I made up a version of this a while ago but went with a ranger12 monk7 rogue1 build for now instead here is what I came up with for a cleric.
    6 enhancement points are left for RS 1 and 2
    with basic gear you can get a dc 26 maximize extended blade barrier
    all that. no heighten empower but that only adds 3dc and 50%dmg
    still have maximize empower healing for your healing spells.

    I do like the idea of the build though can heal really well loss of Mass Heal sucks though.
