Install Error - Source File Corrupted

Using XP. I am trying to install the game, but I keep getting this message during install.


blah blah blah\Turbine\DDO Unlimited\client_mesh.dat

An error occurred while trying to copy a file:
The source file is corrupted.

Click Retry to try again, Ignoreto skip this file (not recommended), or Abort to cancel installation.

'Retry' did nothing so I re-started the install, I got the message two more times. I tried ignoring it and it worked until I logged in, it would get past the 'World Selection' menu and then I would get the 'Error 201'.

I have tried un-installing the game and re-installing three times and I keep getting this. Had no trouble installing on my desktop.

hey srry to necro this thread but im having similar problems while trying to downgrade to standard...

i had these problems B4 with High res and somehow managed to resolve it(sry cant remember)

i'll try to see if i can figure it out again..

P.S. i also am using XP

A re-install is the correct fix and I would suggest using a new destination folder.

I also found that antivirus would screw up the downloading on occasion as well causing file corruption. I was using AVG at the time. (I dumped AVG about.. 1 to 2 years back)
