Handwraps + Red Dragon Robe

I'm considering using my red dragon scales for my monk, but before I do it, I was just wondering if there were any issues with using handwraps and the flaming damage bonus from the robe. Specifically, the damage not applying properly. I know some ToD sets were broken (or possibly WAI with a very poor item description) with handwraps last time I checked (tempest set for sure) so before I commit 20 red scales, I want to make sure the item will work the way it should. Any monks out there able to confirm it works?

Works fine, just wont stack with Oremi Rings fire damage set bonus. Or any other weapon effect bonus (Ravager, Tempest, Destruction, Crippling, ect.) of course none of those work with fists anyways.
