Recipes to Upgrade Guild Augmentation Slots

Today I pulled a +5 Holy Greataxe of Pure Good with a tiny guild augmentation slot. Which is awesome. However, I would love to be able to keep using this weapon and take advantage of the full level of my guild (whatever that may be at the time) without having to acquire another one with a higher level slot.

Recipes could be added using some of the less useful collectibles to increment the level of the slot, rarer collectibles as the slot gets higher. A recipe could also be added to put the initial tiny slot on there removing the need for guild level restricted items to drop at all.

Hopefully this would satisfy unguilded players who just want to use what they pull aswell as players in all levels of guild who want to take full advantage of the guild perks.

After thinking on this suggestion a little longer I've changed my mind. With renown decay it's probably not a great idea to upgrade slots as you go, the item you upgrade one week you may not be able to use next week.

It would probably be better to have Generic Guild Augmentation slots which take any level of upgrade and determine the required guild level by the upgrade you apply.
