Ignoring the DC's and build choices for a moment Stunning Blow is 15 sec cd and costs no ki....Fist is 6 sec cd and costs ki. I can see advantages to either one but both can have DC's in the mid-to-high 30's with the proper build choices on the type of character you're building. I think with double-madstone, yug pots, and a few points in the WF'd tactics you could actually push the DC on the Blow to 40. Just something else to add to the equation with the build you're working on right now.
Yeah been debating that also, Im playing with wind stance right now, maybe when I go back to fire stance (if I do) I will try Stunning Blow out.. I just hate giving up 20 more hp.

Right, and with the content you're playing right now that's a tough choice. You ARE doing the tanking but from the sound of it aren't running a ton of epics (certainly doesn't sound like you're grinding them) so stunning blow/fist is less of a factor than raid tanking survivability.

Right now a WF Monk is the best boss tank in the game. We have 700+ hp, crazy immunities, 25% incorporeal miss chance, DR10, improved Evasion, Repair or Healing and crazy DPS. We dont take massive self damage like barbarians, we have way more hp then a paladin and everything but our fort save is going to be way better then a fighter. Most importantly though we are fun to play, I love being able to reliable know that I can take and hold any mobs aggro to keep everyone else from getting hit (thanks TOD)
Wow I can't believe I just read that.
Had I heard that even a week ago I would have said you were completely off your rocker. Now I'm still having issues adjusting my mindset to U5.
Guess it is just going to take a while to adjust to the new bad ass monks.
Move along , Nothing to see here

Lol, I had everything last patch besides the 25% miss chance. This build has been a beast since he reincarnated, all this patch did was lower his dps slightly and made weighted procs somewhat useless.

Emphasis mine. Considering that Monk start down 80 hp (from class enhancements and basic hit die) and +4 Con (from stance) from a tanking Paladin, what makes up the difference?

My WF Monk has the +2 Racial con, Max Toughness, 10hp from tortoise path, and +4 con from Earth stance. I am sitting at above 740 hp while raid tanking something that to the best of my knowledge would be next to impossible for a KOTC paladin to do. I would imagine a Defender paladin would be able to hit that easily but a defender has to sacrifice a large amount of DPS enhancements to do so.
