Anyone Try the Bard yet?

Yes, the lvl 18 warchanter dorf bard is ubba. (If you a melee toon and want to kill things fast).

DDO store-only? Only place I could find them. The level 18 dorf warchanter really was the perfect companion for my Elven Exploiter for favor runs, though. But I wish he had haste or GH instead of greater dispel.

Anyone know where there's a description of the bard hirelings? Not in wiki, not in compendium.

I've never rolled a bard so have no idea what they're made of.

Just curious before I spend the TP...

EDIT - I did not realize the DDO store description listed their main spells, I wrongly assumed since it didn't for other hirelings it wouldn't for them - I hope they change the descriptions for all of them at some point. Since I'm not familiar with bards I sure can look them up in the compendium, but I've always wondered, are our hirelings only limited to the 4 spells or abilities listed on the menus? I always assumed they could use other abilities inherent to their class, and I always wondered if they could carry wands/potions/etc of other stuff, figured that was beyong their scope right now but hadn't been able to tell during play.

I looked at them in the DDO store, and it seemed really bad when I saw Bard Hirelings who did not have Inspire Courage on their list. That would seem to be the #1 main reason to ever get a Bard Hireling.

They do it on their own if you set them to "active". AC song too.
