    Default Enlarge and AoE's

I haven't tested this and am too lazy to respec one of my wiz's to see what enlarge actually does.

It is listed as doubling the range of a spell. I have seen people cast finger long distance at beholders, so I have seen that part. But what about area spells like firewall or mass hold spells? Does this metamagic just extend the range or does it also expand the area of effect? How about for self-cast spells like wail and death auras? Does it expand the range (area of effect) of those spells?

It only extends the range, not the area of effect. There is another metamagic feat in PnP that expands the area, but it has not been implemented in DDO.

It would seem from the spell descriptions that this is a 'casting range only' metamagic, not an AoE metamagic. Wail is not shown as enlarge-able.

This seems like a simple way to close some of the gap between wizards and sorcerers. Wiz can currently get the highest wail DC in the game, but we lose SP, casting speed, and cooldown speed as a penalty. Our benefit is extra metas like heighten, so boosting those metamagics will give a feat-starved Sorc build a problem with what to sacrifice to take those extra metamagics.

OK, this planning needs to shift over to leveraging our development team to implement this.

Anyone have compromising pictures of Eladrin or MadFloyd?
