Still, I will be the lone wolf that says Lesner by KO.

Brock Lesnar is entertaining to watch and knows how to sell it. Even though he reminds me of that guy on the football team hanging people on the flagpole by their underwear, I like his attitude as a fighter. This fight goes two, maybe three rounds max. Anything longer than that and people are going to find out the ugly truth about 265-pound fighters. If one of these guys wins by triangle, I’m gonna **** myself. My prediction is Lesnar by KO and the UFC needing some new fence panels afterwards.

    seconded.

Lesner KO or beat down stoppage round 1.

its really a man fighting a skilled bear more than a UFC fight.

Gotta love white belt topics, anyway the winner is clearly Rickson by armbar.

HOW?: Lesner will go for immediate takedown. On the ground its Lesner all the way via ground and pound.

DANGER?: Lesner is the PERFECT opponent for Carwin. Big slab of meat with little boxing skill and an untested chin. If Carwin catches him clean, 1 punch KO. BUT, Carwin's chin is untested, as his ability to go the distance. All of Carwin's fights combined = 8 minutes. ONE of Brock's fights was longer. Chin and Endurance are big unanswered questions for Carwin.

Lesnar's ability?: Everyone assumes Lesnar has no skills? Brock Lesnar was an NCAA national wrestling champion. Actually his takedowns are first rate. Ground n pouund might not look pretty, but its a perfectly legitimate fighting style in UFC and MMA. On the ground, Lesnar knows how to gain control and use his size against you. Lightening fast for his size. If Lesnar learns a few submissions on the ground, that would be akin to a level 20 raged barbarian able to cast finger of death!

    Should be a great fight!!
Um, Carwin's chin untested??? Did you not see him get rocked by Gonzaga and immediatley recover? If thats not a test, I don't know what is. Gonzaga is a BIG puncher. I think its Brocks chin that need to be tested. No one with any power has got him. The only thing that comes close is when Mir caught him with a knee in the second fight, it Brock had partially blocked it!

Naah, Gonzaga has faught too many meatballs. Lesner is far stronger and far faster then Gonzaga ever was. It's a completely different fight. They SAY Carwin trains for 5, but I've yet to see Carwin go past one. Carwin has fought mostly meatballs.

Lesner & Carwin, if nothing else, is a great matchup on paper, which is sure to be a "barn-burner" in the octagon.

I think Lesner proved he had a good chin. He took some hits but man once he got em on the ground....

Haha, we were joking before the fight that if Lesner made it past round 1 he would win (judging by Carwin's low average fight time). It was a good fight, but I thought Carwin was going to be able to hold out until the end of the round there. Whatever, watching Lesner getting beat down in the first round was totally worth it!

Yeah first real threat to him but in the end he took everything Carwin gave then submitted em out.

Lesnar gets MAJOR PROPS for surviving a brutal 1st round. Lesnar was a lion. Rock chin.

Anyone who says Lesnar didnt earn this win is not being honest. He weathered the storm and kept to his game plan.

If I were to train Lesnar now, I'd work on his boxing. Then I'd mature his submission game. That's one of the most powerful triangle chokes I've ever seen.

WOW!! That was a great fight. Hats off to Lesnar. He showed some fortitude and somer class after the fight. One hell of a pay per view all around! Those were some amazing fights, hell some of them were wars! Couldn't believe Bonner and Leben pulled off those amazing victories!

So Lesner is kinda what we would get if we could multi-class Barbarian and Monk? Now we know why this would be overpowerd.

I am very impressed by Lesnar's chin. That guy took a beating from a truly legit contender and kept going. I was also happy to see him not be a total ass during the post-fight interview.

So far Lesner has used 1 ability to defeat his opponents. Overpower, then baby hammerfists till victory. This is not a skillful ability, it is his sophmoric Pavlov's dog segway into MMA. It works, so he continues to use it. Again, simply not "skillful".

Has he been victorious? Yes. Would anyone in their right mind consider him a well balanced and skilled Martial Artist? Not in a million years.
Looks to me like Brock does have some skill... a win by submission no less...
