Great job on your guild looks like a perfect guild, definitely my play style of play, I wish I had the time to join. Had to start my own guild to encompass the same values as your guild to give gamers a safe place to play with no politics, for families, friends, and alts. Guild leader Rexit on Thelanis guild name Hero Inc. Again what a great sounding guild.

I have not read this entire thread, just the opening post and I was intrigued.

I've been playing this game since '09 right after it went F2P and really enjoyed it.
It was a real decent replica of D&D (which I played on and off since the mid-'80s)
There were plenty of people willing to slow-roll thru the dungeons ... flower sniffing if you will ...
and trying to find all the optionals, bust all the boxes, and hunt down all the sparklies (collectibles)

I had to take a break in '14 and came back in '19 to a completely different game.
New enhancement trees (that completely changed multi-class)
New dungeons and a strange WoWification of DDO

My old guild on the Khyber server had all but died out and there were only two or three regular people on at odd times, so I was doing a lot of soloing. I tried to find some PUGs but they were all just zerg-fests, no party cohesion just a fast run to the end fight, and it's off to the next quest in search of named gear.

I started surfing the forums looking for a guild that remembered the old D&D playstyle and thought I found one on the Cannith server, but that was a dead end. Some guildies and I broke off and started our own guild, but alas we have run into the same problem, zerg-monsters who don't want to run together as a group and slow-roll thru dungeons.

Has DDO permanently changed or does this guild remember and honor the old ways of questing; sticking together as a (well balanced) group and taking your time to enjoy the dungeons ... or has that play-style gone the way of the dodo bird?

I'll be 54 in a few weeks and if this guild still plays as I hope, how would I go about joining?

I'm not opposed to starting a new set of toons, but *may bring one or two of my bigger alts with me if this guild is what I hope it to be.

    * I won't spend the money to transfer any alts until I know this is the place for me. I've spent quite a lot of money on the guild ship on Cannith, but it's all for naught if I can't find like-minded people to run with

    Hi Nite!

Tyrs Paladium was born and bred "old school". Tyrs DOES NOT support nor allow zergers or elitists. PERIOD. STILL TO THIS DAY.

Our guildies have BEEN AROUND since before Zork, the SSI Gold Box D&D classics like Pool of Radiance, Dark Queen of Krynn, Curse of Asure Bonds, King's Quest, Bard's Tale and all the great games of years past.

And when it comes to DDO our guild is celebrating our 13th year this year... and our values remain unchanged. Casuals are king here, yet we have the games most experienced that help guildies on our custom forum, or in game.

And lastly we still enforce our GUILD RULES.

Default I would like to join

From what I have read, this sounds like the kind of guild I want. I have been on other servers but am willing to move for a good guild and people to adventure with.

Will create a couple of level 7 today - Mchawi - Sorcerer and Mtoaji - Cleric Will check out your website too.

I look forward to a trial run.

    Thank you,

    Mtoaji.

Thanks, Leslie I've gotten my main and one alt in the guild so far.

I may send some friends to this webpage too

I know that there are lots of us who prefer to slow-roll quests and only zerg when running favor runs.

Should be an interesting time indeed.

Since 2006, DDO has made history.

Since 2008, Tyrs Paladium has made lore. We call it the Tyrs Way.

It's still right here. An actual healthy, thriving OLD SCHOOL guild in action.

No drama and No zerg. TEAMWORK. Camaraderie.

Be a somebody in Tyrs, not just an anybody.

    Default Howdy folks

I'm a returning player, played last back in 2010. I have quite a few characters stuck on other servers, including a level 25 Arti, but am looking forward to relearning the ropes on my other characters with a good guild. I applied on the website and hope to talk to you all soon.
