Yep, we are Old School. And proud of it.

We accept all different player levels into Tyrs, from new to hardened game vets. Yet, we are quite selective who we choose. We are looking for people who want to learn, and/or want to give back to others in the guild. We seek veterans who share our style of play. We seek those that want to be part of a tight band of brothers and sisters.

Are you an old school gamer? New to DDO?

Or, you may be one of the truly brave, such as active military or a Veteran. We are VERY PROUD of our military contingent that has always been among our ranks since the VERY BEGINNING. We are a VERY military friendly guild.

In Tyrs, you get to play among good people who play to have fun. The character we seek is a unique blend, you either have it, or you don't.

I have stood with THOUSANDS of gamers in these ten years, who came to our gatherings to simply HONOR THEIR MOTHER, FATHER, SON & DAUGHTER. GRANDFATHER or GRANDMOTHER. FRIEND.

Hello. I have come back to DDO after 7 years away. I wanted to play some D&D again(have been playing LOTROL). The server I was on seemed to be quite. I went looking on the forums and saw your guild. I enjoy gaming in groups(solo is fine for somethings)for the camaraderie and fun. The game is more enjoyable when people help out each other.

TYRS PALADIUM. A Guild for the Ages.

There are very few guilds in the world of gaming that can say they've managed to pull off an act of absolute kindness of this magnitude - and for such a cause.

Tyrs Paladium guildies from Dungeons & Dragons Online, Neverwinter, Elder Scrolls Online, and Guild Wars 2 have SUCCESSFULLY combined real life resources to help raise money to help the Folds of Honor Foundation realize its mission of providing educational scholarships to the children and spouses of our fallen and disabled servicemen and women.

We raised $697 in only 6 days!!!! YOU CRUSHED IT!!! We started our drive at the end of our Memorial Day Ceremony this year and in 6 days... raised all this money.

We've granted this money in MEMORY our OUR FAMILIES that we've come to honor & remember at our annual gatherings. These donations go forth in the name of your fathers and mothers, your grandfathers and grandmothers, Your uncles & aunts, your cousins who paid the ultimate sacrifice, or suffered debilitating injuries in battle.

I have been playing DDO on and off since BETA testing it "a while ago". I normally find a guild that appears active and then after several months to a year it dies off and/or it's "active" members are no longer as active and I am stuck having to solo everything which is not what I imagine when I think MMO. I am looking for a group of like minded individuals that like to group, raid, hunt, etc together and at the very least, HAVE FUN! I am a 46yr old Disabled Army Vet that has been playing D&D since 1983 and would like to find a guild that will make DDO enjoyable.

I have come back to DDO after almost a decade away. When I left the level cap had just been bumped from 12. I went and played Age Of Conan, Star Wars the Old Republic, and World OF Warships. None of those games had the same level of camaraderie I experienced in my time in DDO. I still keep in touch with former guildies by email and text message after all these years. I am a former Navy and Army veteran....it is a long story but I will tell it to you if you ask. I am looking to get back into the game and make some new DDO friends.

I applied to your guild on your web site. I will try and log onto the server and make contact with someone. I broke my back in the military and the condition has deteriorated over the last 23 years so here are nights when I come home from work and it is all I can do to make it to the bed. Hopefully tonight will be better.

I created my third toon on Cannith q while back (my main is in his ninth life and on Orien). Though this is the third, my second toon (the third lifer) is more like for raids and gear farm and I don't play that much so I play this toon quite often. I haven't done much casters so far so I would like to try builds and also I am still in the dark about many things like crafting and raids so I want to learn about those too through this toon. I am a middle aged guy and live in Asia. It would be nice if the guild does raids often and also a tad generous on inexperience players. I am also the leader of a small guild on Orien and want to learn a lot. Thank you so much! Oh, my toon is Nightdefnder on Cannith. Thank you!

Let me introduce myself - I'm Alex, aka Orbry, a programmer just a bit over 30 years old. I'm almost new to the game, though I have expierence in D&D games and played few starting adventures in DDO couple years ago. The reason I left the game was that I could not find a like-minded group or guild to play with. There were nice people that would help with gear, buffs and anything, but all of them where playing in "zerg rush" mode, basically skipping everything that was skippable and rushing to the end to get reward. While I myself is what seems to be called here a "flower sniffer" - I enjoy the adventure itself, the narrative, the scenery, the plot, puzzle solving etc. The end reward is nice, but that's just small part of fun for me. So I did quit the game.

But recently I've come to idea of trying DDO again, and after asking on forums I got few recommendations of your guild, which seem to enjoy playing with pace

So I'd like to apply, but first I'd like to ask few questions:
1) I live in Moscow, and usually I prefer to play in the morning, which is around 05-08 UTC, is this time window ok for guild? I mean will there be players to play with? I guess core of the guild is from US, and then it must be around evening in your place
2) As I've mentioned I'm from Moscow, well I'm almost sure this is not a problem, I do speak proper english at least :P , but just in case would like to ask won't there be any problem with accepting russian in guild? I also ask because there seems to be a lot of ex US military, and well, due to some political issues between countries and propaganda on both ends... Well, just want to be sure :P

We have no problem accepting anyone from ANY country, ethnicity, religion, sex or sexual orientation. We are gamers, we simply dont focus on the political or social issues of the day at all.

Its amazing that we are in our tenth year, and being welcoming of ALL, and finding our commonalities and sharing in camaraderie I think have been even more fun that the game itself.

I'll be looking out for the app Orby!!!
