I am proud to say that our application was just accepted yesterday. We are the newest official sponsor of HOMES FOR OUR TROOPS!

Starting in the early fall, we will start an epic fundraising campaign for this awesome organization of volunteers that build homes for disabled veterans. There are even ways to help out beyond donating money. During our annual Tyrs Veterans Day Event, I will announce how much we've raised.

What's so cool about this is we as a guild actually pick a home project and veteran and get to be a part of the project TO COMPLETION! The best loot aint bound, it's found or earned and given away to those who need it more.

I'm going to ask guildies and the Ghallanda & Neverwinter Fellowship to spread the word when its time. Lets do something AMAZING here.. something never done before.

Seems like an amazing guild your advitising. But i have one question

Why minimun age 30?

I totally understand why you do not want young people, as they may cause drama, or they haven't matured ect. However talking from a fourteen year olds perspective, some of us are not that bad lo.

Mabye instead of having a mininum age, you can quest with them and get to know them. As some of us younger people 'cough' know alot about the game, and i bet some could even suprise you! :P

But to be serious again, age dosen't matter, i believe it the personality and gameplay.

The reasons for our 30+ rule is several-fold. We have decided to be a guild exclusive to "old school" gamers. We are very much a niche guild, that caters to a mindset and playstyle that not many teenagers would find fun. We also have a set of guild rules that the typical young player just would have trouble adhering to.

We DO make exceptions however and have brought in players as young as 21 , but 14 is just a bit shy of where we begin recruiting.

I DO have a possible solution however, since you sound like you arent just mature but also seek an environment and a camaraderie that we have become known for.

We are the hosts of the Tyrs Fellowship, the leading no drama alliance which includes some awesome guilds that adhere to the same standards that Tyrs Paladium sets -- and there is no age minimum for most guilds.

We are one big happy family of gamers -- so you may be able to join in with Tyrs and other guilds to run whatever it is that there is scheduled.

If you fill out our application on our website http://tyrspaladium.shivtr.com , I'll personally ask a few guild leaders of member guilds of our alliance to pick you up.

See BandVP... Heck maybe we'll see you in game after all!!

Most of the site's functions require an account on the site to use, including the applications.
Come out to the site: http://tyrspaladium.shivtr.com/, and in the upper-left
you can put in an application.

So even thoughh we ARE REALISTS, and realize DDO has seen busier days, they haven't seen better.

We have a 80 to 100+ active member guild that's always bristling with ACTIVITY... yes JUST like the Old Days.

Congratulation Tyrs Paladium on reaching 170!!

Many years in the making, we've never required a single purchase, required not a single pick up, from our guildies to help us advance. Our progress was 100 percent grass roots and authentic, with no small guild bonuses of any kind, and built on fun, family and loyalty.

It would have been impossible without the hundreds of guildies that have walked through the Tyrs gates in the past 9 years. We never got larger than a medium sized guild (120 active members tops), but regardless the size we always run it tight knit, just like a small guild. Everyone gets to know everybody in Tyrs Paladium. No egos, ever.

I would like to join and rolled a character on your server specifically to play with you guys.40 year old gamer, used to play tabletop D&D 2nd edition, been playing mmos since 1998.Done everything from being a guild leader in Shadowbane, to being an officer in other mmos, to just being a guildie ( no more leadership please :P ) I hate drama and am just looking for fun people to play with. Started on Canith server but the guild I ended up joining there was only farming members for guild points, and never even replied to you or spoke in guild chat, so it left me with a bad taste. Was cruising forums looking for guild and you guys looked great. I am still noobish and learning the game here.

Hey Rakeawn - the boss is under the weather, but I expect him to be along to review your application soon-ish.
There is a character invite thread you'll be able to post to once your app is approved, and then an officer will send you an invite.
If you're already approved, check the "Unconfirmed" tab of your in-game mail - the guild invites frequently land in there.
