    Default something weird with KoTC

well, i have my paladin on lvl 14, KoTC 2, and noticed something bizarre, and then when i went to devil assault on normal to check, it was definetelly bizarre.

You see, paladins with that PrE should do 2d6 against all evil aligned outsiders, but for some reason, i do that extra damage to the undeads on sands as well =S, not only that, on devil assault, i fought against creatures classified as "native outsider", ok, and they did as well take over 200 dmg when i critted with exalted smite, which, as funny as it may sound, only works on evil stuff, even the description says so....however, the evil aligned "native outsiders, that clearly fit under the classification of "evil outsider" because evil align + outsider type = evil outsider, did not thake the extra damage that the UNDEADS are taking. Hell hounds, whose file have the classification of evil outsider, take the extra damage as well, but how come a outsider , that is affected by a hability that only affect evil creratures, does not fall on the category of evil outsider? thus not taking the extra 2d6 dmg from KoTC?

plz, can u devs fix that? After all, you are already fixing stuff up to get U5 nicely installed, fixing that as well will save u trouble for next update stuff.

For as long as KotC has been available now, it does extra damage against undead (which is a bug i hope the devs come around saying its a feature)
and the bonus damage does not apply to Tieflings (in amrath at least) Which it should.

so all breaks and no fixes then...

actually, if you are pretty open minded, that makes sense....however if we see things in a litteral way, skeletons and zombie type should not count as extra planar, becase well, they didnt cross dimentions to get to the world of eberron, they just digged their way out of their tombs =3, as for ghosts like wraiths, or shadows, well, you could say they come from a different plane somewhat thus counting as outsiders.

Tieflings are native to the material plane of Eberron, and are "naive outsiders" just like Rakshasas are native to the material plane of Eberron (and are also "native outsiders"). Even though these outsiders are evil, they are not "evil outsiders" because they were not born/created on one of the evil-aligned outer planes (like Shavarath or Dolluhr).

Zombies, skeletons, etc. are not from the outer planes. They are bodies that have been animated using negative energy (and thus have no souls). They are not extraplanar UNLESS they were animated on another plane, then brought to the material plane.

The nerfing will continue until morale improves!

zombies ghosts wraiths are undead that failed to cross over to the plane of death. Not monsters summonded from there. Even those created via magic are undead summoned back from the plane of death but who originated in the plane of ebberon, traveled there, and returned with magical aid.
