Default Modification to the Spell Component Bag Dilemma

The community has been asking for Spell Component Bags for a long time now.

The problem is that the Devs have not been able to get the spell system to properly see the Spell Components if they are in the Bag and use the Component when you cast the spell.

Solution: Add an Equipment slot for each Spell level where you can place your spell components, just like the ammunition slot. Then a Spell Component Bag could be introduced that would funciton just like a quiver, and would refill the Spell Component Equipment Slot, when it reaches Zero.

    Thoughts?

Your assumption is that they will not continue to failcode with the components equipped. I find that highly unlikely.

Would reaaaally love this update, heck i'd pay $30 at least just to be able to use this.

My wizard is REALLY starved for space, if this was implemented, i'd get 9 more inventory spaces at least!

while it sounds like a good idea, I don't see it as any easier to code and would likely have the same issues with not being visible that the component bag would. The problem is that the spell system was designed just to look in the main bag, moving it to equipment wouldn't make that particular code work any better then it does now, nor take any less work to recode then a component bag does.

The solution is really quite simple:

Just give spellcasters AN EXTRA INVENTORY SLOT. Make it 12 slots to account for Stoneskin/ etc..

    Problem solved..........

I'm sure that programming isn't a problem here.
Any average programmer can easily do that properly, i.e. without adding additional lag to the game.
