Default Mod5 Patch killed my graphics?

    hi,

I just downloaded the update patch and first off my machine froze, so i re-booted and now my vision my graphics on my monitor is completely screwed up. I have leeking graphics everywhere (pixels all over the place). Very hard to even type this. I had no other programs running, my machine running at a nice cool 50's-F and have no other issue (My machine as off, until i downloaded pathc and have since checked for virus and nothing).

    Please help

Splotches on the screen, especially ouitside of the game are generally a sign of a hardware Failure.

What kind of card is it?

WHens the last time you Updated your drivers?

I highly doubt your running at 50F Thats well below the ambient temp of the vast majority of peoples homes. Its simply not possible in most situations.

WHens the last time you opened up your case and cleaned out all the dust and crud?
