Back to your thread topic Samulas. I just want to say that I 100% agree with you on this. Not only do you see who’s who for future reference, you also get to meet lots of new peeps. I realize that nowadays, an extra 10 minutes in the Shroud seems to be reason for some here to complain and ridicule other players, but I say if you want speed over meeting new peeps, by all means run a guild and friends only Raid. If you want to meet new players and get a feel for the DDO community in general, then patience is a virtue.
I have had the pleasure of running in some of your PUG groups and want to say that you sir have my respect. It is refreshing to see Uber players take a breather once and awhile and mingle with the general populace. Not only that, but the tone and manner of your leadership is to be commended and is a model of how Raids should be lead.
