Perhaps this should go under quests, but anyhow. Ran this on epic last night, probably not with the most optimal party setup but we did have trap disabling ability. For the most part it was rather fun and seemed well balanced. Some of the mobs seemed a bit on the easy side, but then groups with multiple casters in them could cause a little havoc. Nice hectic end fight too (although this was probably more because the quest was new and unknown).
On epic, one particular part of this quest is just a practice in tedium, really detracting from the overall enjoyment of the quest. I'm guessing the designers might have a clue about it too as it was mentioned in the lam forums, and this suggestion assumes the placement of the correct mark of shadow is random. Tone down the hit points of the marks of shadow in the air/illusion spike room, at least the fake ones. This particular part of the of the quest was least fun I've ever had playing DDO (which is a shame as otherwise this is a nicely done quest). Suffice to say my group did not pick the correct mark at first, or second, or third, fourth, fifth, sixth, seventh, etc. This part just dragged on and on, not fun in the slightest. I get the point of the marks and this particular part of the quest, but unless that correct mark is static, with the mark's current hit points this part just has to the potential to really drain the enjoyment out of this quest. You could drop the mark's hit points to a 1/4 of what they are now and still keep plenty of threat in this part.
Also of note, group members were rolling 20s on their saves yet still taking full damage (or at least close enough to it).
