Latency, Non Movement, etc...

Since I have logged in this evening I am having some rather irritating problems with latency. It seems that when things are going well, my toon ends up taking a few steps forward... nothing happens for about 5 seconds... then a few steps forward.

In the worst of it; my character cannot move at all. get stuck in what appears to be the swinging animation while falling, and cannot take any actions.

Tonight I joined my guildies on a run of quests in Gianthold. Here were the most frustrating of the occruances:

1. Leaving Cabal, I cannot move for over 5 minutes. When, at 5:43 I could move again red damage numbers flying above my head and suddenly I am dead. I res out to the tavern I am bound at, and still cannot move for another 2 mins or so. The run back to Gianthold takes a rather long time due to the few steps forward, freeze for 5 seconds, few steps forward thing.

I log out, reset my router. I restart the PC and go to check the forums here. Have to refresh the page multiple times just to get the home page to come up. I open another window to check email, which runs without issue. Load a few more web pages with no issue. So I decide to try it again.

I log in and run to Gianthold with no problems. Get to Madstone Crater which in in progress by my guildies. Again, stutter stepping begins. They are on the third crystal by the time I catch up with them. First part of that scenario seems fine. I am healing the giant, and healing party members. About the time that the Soothsayer give the dialoge, '... just a little longer..." I cannot move again. Apparently, my guildies finished the battle, moved on finish the rest of the quest. About 3mins later, I can move again. Short lived though as I jump off of the top of the mountian to reach the next part, I hang in the air for another 2 minutes or so. At which point I find that I am standing in lava, the quest is done. My guildies have moved on to the next quest and are out in the slayer area about there already.

It was this point that I decided to log out and contact tech assistance. This is lag like I have never seen before. And I need a hand trying to figure out how to correct this issue. No one in the guild party I was in was having any issue whatsoever, and I find that to be rather strange.

I am having the same problem. It happens to me on a daily basis. Also, my game client hangs on the loading screen when entering an instance.

Hi,
i am currently inside a lag loop for around 30 min now, in the middle of a fight, not beeing able to do anything.
This is the 3rd time i experience this and im not a happy camper now.

I dont know where people connect from, but i connect from the EU and never had this happen before, but pinging doesnt show any problems.
