Default "Connection failed. You do not have the current version of the client installed."

I get this message every single time I try to play since update 5 went live. I'll get to the splash screen, then it crashes. Rebooting doesn't help, actually nothing I've tried seems to help.

Please tell me I don't have to reinstall the entire game to fix something as simple as this that could be handled with a thirty second download...

Having the same issue here. Not being able to play DDO for the past 19 hours is causing me to develop withdrawal symptoms....

I get the same issue, cannot find any download for a patch, I think TMD is now obsolete as it has no options, did the game update itself for anyone else? I dont see the point in downloading 4.5gigs again this patch should only be 100mb or so.

So, I after creating a backup of the DDO dir I uninstalled it by mistake from the Turbine Download Manager, then copied the dir back but TDM still said it was uninstalled and TurbineLauncher.exe in ddo dir didnt work, then i made a backup of TDM and uninstalled that, now TurbineLauncher.exe in ddo dir works and is downloading the update. So id advise simply just uninstalling the download manager as i think turbine have switched download servers and it just bugs the whole process.

Volaxis, thank you. Doing that worked, and update 5 is now working, no redownloading 4.5 gigs needed.

What is the name of the download manager file, and how would be the best way to go about uninstalling it?
