    Was this really necessary?

Turbine, I do not believe that this change has a positive impact upon my gaming experience.

lol -- as if it wasn't enough that they completely kicked the legs out from under the paladin in every other way. Just in case you thought there was ANY use left for that toon...

The funny thing is they (20 KOTC TWF Pallies) are being cited as top-end DPS this update. I don't have one to test personally but that chart is being mentioned a lot tonight.

    Default hmm

this makes no sense whatsoever from a strict pen and paper approach.

maybe just designed to introduce another rupee sink but other than the minor upset of "they took my toy" it is not a change I understand. on the other hand, it is not something I would start gathering signatures for either

Shhh...you are going to ruin Justagame's whole niche on the forums lately. He's convinced Pally's are now completely useless. Don't let the cat out of the bag that the opposite may be true until AFTER he's rerolled.

My paladin has been holding aggro from people who it feels like she shouldn't.

I have this feeling other people got nerfed a lot worse than we did.

    1) It was never labled as a bug, or cited as a known issue.
    2) Nobody was complaining when it worked.

Turbine should have been spending their time on more important bugs, like fixing the barbarian capstone.

The nerfing will continue until morale improves!

Allowing paladins to circumvent the charging rules was silly - It made having depleted cells in the game pointless, unless your point is to make people feel cool that they're getting one over on the system. I charged as many cells for myself and friends as anyone else, but I'm happy they fixed it - makes the game feel right.

Yeah the DMG clearly states that you are allowed to charge your energy cells with temporarily enchanted magic items.
