    Angry Thank you for U5

You guys just screwed up my self-healing pally:

With 500 sp and with that ludricously high ammount of sp needed for a Quickened and Maxed Cure Serious, it is not worth it to get CE with self-healing ability turned on.

Oh, sure, I can cast it now without it deactivating. About 3 times in total. Torc and Conc Opp procs so much that I only need to be hit by a train to regen sp fast enough to compensate it.

Oh, sure, I can deactivate it to self heal. It's not like 5 extra ac won't matter for an AC build afterall.

Oh, sure, I can deactivate it, self-heal, and then turn it on. This is better than just self-healing and turning it on.

Oh, sure, pallies were meant to melee, not be self-healing tanks. That is what clerics are for, isn't it? We made the Devotion line of enhancements just so noobs can confuse themselves while leveling up.

Again, thank you, U5. I need to do some college work anyway.

    So how did it change?

What was it like before Update 5?

Oh, yes, sorry. I forgot that CE was Combat Expertise.

It does seem rather unfair to make it apply to Healing spells.

that stinks... not another Pally glitch

after so many of these, im starting to think these glitches are intentional

(funny thing to me was noticing the OP is Brazillian, but i guess after F2P it was bound to happen)

It is not a glitch, this is an "improvement" they made over the current CE system. It is on the release notes.

After stopping for a little, I took some liberty to test some new things. Guess what, I have some more good news:

YOU CAN'T CAST ANY SPELLS FOR 16 SECONDS AFTER YOU ENTER CE, NOR YOU CAN DISABLE IT TO CAST THE HEALING SPELL WHEN YOU NEED

Apparently, they thought doubling sp cost and keeping CE activated while casting is better than the alternative. Bravo! U5, you made another victim!

Edit: Vamos ganhar essa copa, e malditos desenvolvedores que fodem o jogo de maneira escrota :P

A noob question, why would I want to take maximize on a Pally - the more so on a tank, who's already feat-starved? Won't a maxed CSW be much less healing than LoH to start with? Sorry if I'm missing the obvious....

Wearing a Torc + Conc Opp, you regen SP when you get hit

With high ac, the attacks will be mostly glancing, ie not hurting you that much.

With maximize, quicken, devotion item, you turn the sp gained into hp, ~160-210
