Thalanis Server Location Quiz

Where can the Thalanis Server be located that it causes this much down time?

a) Beneathe a Urinal. Every time a programmer takes a leak the world goes down.

b) On the Mars Rover. Not even NASA can locate it.

c) Al Capone's Vault. Geraldo Rivera's nose blocked his own line of sight and he missed it.

Other theories appreciated.

Nevada - the lag & occasional downtime problems are caused by mains power & solar batteries not synchronising properly, causing a brownout that makes the server reset

The question is not where but when. I would say that the server is in Jurassic, 170 million years ago, in an Apatosaurus nest, covered with dinosaur droppings.

Ok Darling for one you should know better if your date was Mar 2006. Up until last YEAR EVERYONE PAID to PLAY. It didnt make things better then and making everyone pay now isnt going to fix it now. And how often do you play on Thelanis as opposed to other servers you ( i only assume due to the date ) have characters on. I havent played on other servers much so i cant tell you if they are bad or worst but i would only assume (if we are all playing the same game here) that the lag and the downtimes would be close to the same unless there is some unexpected bug that got into the mess of letters and numbers.

As for the fast internet and fast computers people have what they can afford and unless you are going to buy everyone who has a "bad or cheap" computer and/or internet then you just keep your pointless ramblings to yourself.

Thelanis is so large, consider it to be a black whole. It is the only server to swallow all of Xoriat hate and keep it.

Now true to particle phsyics, at times the hate escapes to wander, but these particulates are few and far between. By swallowing Xoriat as it did, Thelanis has developed the heartburn that you are describing, and the Xoriat afflictions now hit Thelanis on occassion.

In other words, where it is located won't matter. It will always have troubles so long as Xoriat remains fully situated in Thelanis' belly.

I used to work for an Internet provider that had one of it's dial-up points of presence sitting on top of an unused toilet in the rented out back store room of a drug store.
