Does heighten affect potency?

I understand that heighten spell meta affects the DC of your spells, but I wonder if you have sup potency VI and can cast level 9 spells, does your fireball spell suddenly loose 50% damage when you activate heighten making it act like a level 9 spell?

No, it doesn't. In DDO, Heighten only ups the DCs. Another consequence is a level 3 spell heightened to level 9 still won't work in a globe of invulnerability.
