UPD5 - Paltinum now Primary coin in Vendor and AH

The vendor shop UI, auction house, and other places where we display coin values in the UI should now all appear with platinum as the primary coin.

Might take a little getting used to but maybe not.

Just happy to not have to stop and calculate from one to the other anymore...yay?

wont change at all almost all reguard plat as base and almost worthless they should base the econemy on Large devil scales and youd have a true baseline

yep, but at least a few people are going to see an item for 100,000 gp and think "buy it fast that is such a good price!" bought! "wait that was 100,000 plat... Ahhhh fail..." fun times.

Although I prefer Gold as the standard, I can't wait to see people f**k up their decimal conversion when posting on the AH. Could make for some unintentional deals.

I imagine there will be a lot of ...oops.. moments now, and AH markups looking for an easy score off unattentive players now that Plat is suddenly the main currency. Already seen some +5 mithral chain armor selling for -only- 500,000 PP.

I know I am looking multiple times and doing some serious figuring every time I am buying or selling something until I get used to the new system.

Another wonderful job Turbine, repairing something that is not broke with a problem.

i dont know what your seeing because your 4th in the posts by at least 15 minutes.

as for the change. i always said 100k in terms of gold. i never understood why people spoke in terms of plat.. maybe its just because im poor. or that gold is the base currency in name in a multitude of games, both based on D&D and not. as well as pnp.

Personally I would prefer it if they gave you the option in your UI to set whether you want to see the price in gp or pp. After years of playing, I'm kinda used to the gp and now I have to convert everything - it's not a problem, but it is a shlep.

Did I miss the massive petitions where thousands were asking for this ?
