If you are like me, you love having bards in your group, but you get tired of hearing that same song, over, and over, and over again. The idea has been placed that people could upload sound files from their computer to create their own songs, but this would create crazy lag (since not everyone would have that file on their computer), and would also create some copyright issues, neither of which are desired by Turbine.

Enter iBard! The DDO store could have a variety of original songs, played by myriad traditional instruments (the lute, lyre, drums, harp, flute, etc). Each song could be downloaded by a bard and linked to songs that he plays. Granted, it would be nice if the different instruments had a coinciding animation, but one step at a time.

Personally, I think this could be a huge moneymaker for Turbine. I know I'd DL songs for my bard, so long as a little thought and creativity went into making them.

Yep this would be great! The Bard Songs have been the same since the Games Release, with a couple of additional songs, here and there for few higher level Bard Music abilities.

New and different songs would be very cool
