Yugoloth Pot Pricing

I'm just surprised at how much they cost and I don't quite understand it.

With no ranks, my Haggle is 28 (without Maxxon pots).

Essence of Betrayal base price = 5000

My cost = 10320

By way of comparison, I usually just pay a little more than base price on most items.

10 Sacred Relics base price = 1000

My cost = 1032

So are the prices of Yugoloth pots calculated differently from most other items?

The Yugo Pot prices are obscene.

I am tempted to mug the guy just to get my money's worth.

I remembered in PnP it would be an opposing haggle check
So Yogo pot vendor obviously have a higher haggle rank than the spell component vendor

It's a badly needed way of getting plat out of the economy, so I for one like the high prices. Less plat in the economy means player to player trading becomes (slightly) cheaper.
