Yeh it will be a long while for 100 with decay....

some of us in the running dont have giant guilds with tons of decay. thinking storm typhoon is a very reasonable option for LOOT.

The guess is for a storm typhoon so guild level 85 + astral diamonds to buy it. Looks like it will take longer than I would have guessed. I figured people would be able to get there by the end of the month. Cannith will be full of wind sparrows in a few weeks, but typhoons will be a while away and I except very few guilds will ever get one. Still time to place guesses people! ....even though payout is far far away.

"Giant" guilds can also gain more renown faster than smaller guilds so thats a wash.

The point is that "giant" guilds will have more people in them not doing anything. If scaling works as intended then smaller guilds with a higher percent active members will pull ahead.

Can't imagine that everyone in guardiani is raiding every day.

Early guild levels seem to be only about guild size.

While browsing the forums I stumbled across this situation on Khyber. Basically a guild that spam invites new players is already way past a guild level of 27. (about 600 players as of a couple days ago)

What is also interesting is the decay they are facing at level 26 already.

It will be interesting to see how guild size effects things. We have about a gazillion alts in PK (100 of them are Gum's). Supposedly it is by accounts not characters but I doubt they even know how the system works. PK might get stuck at 25 forever! Who knows maybe band of one will start making a late push on the leaderboard!

Right now with the only penalty for having a zerg guild only being decay and no bonuses for smaller guilds the Larger guilds have a definite advantage but hopefully it will work out if they fix the small guild bonus(more frequent and higher value random value renown for kills and traps)

With the release of guild information today it would appear that CoH(343), Guardiani(393), and PK(533) would end up in the Tier 5(60-100 unique accounts) bracket while Loot(123) would end up in the tier 3 bracket(16-40)

Really waiting to see how this all plays out and if a personal guild size can still hold up to the larger little more impersonal guilds or if we should all do as the forums WOEcryers yell leave our guilds and join one massive server guild because this is the death of the smaller raiding guild updates

I'd say PK is about half the size people think we are, we've actually got about 12-13 people who game regular that have 15+ toons guilded. I wish they would base that off of accounts instead of members. Btw, Isn't Gilda DDOppl a huge guild as well? Why aren't those guys in the top five? I would've expected that, my experience with them has always been great.

I trimmed around 200 members off our total by dropping our inactive period to two months and putting a lot of our alts in another guild. I think though we are still going to get hit by not getting the small guild bonus and having a lot of casual players. We are doing a respectable job right now but I'm sure the decay is going to clobber us.
