Default 2 Man or 1 Man Only Quest Requirements:

I would like to see and suggest that all quests be made this way.

My only reason is resource drain for small groups or 2 man groups will increase profitability of the DDO Store.

For those who like to solo it makes the quests that you still need 4 people possible.

    Thank you

Granted - all quests can now be either solo'ed or solo'ed with a hireling (2 man if you will).

Raids, however, will not be included.

D&D and by extension DDO is not a solo game. it is a game that promotes and encourages teamwork and grouping. almost every singe quest can be solo'd and of the rest most only require a hireling to pull a switch (ie: delera part 2), so there is plenty of opportunity to go on your own or with a small group. but the game is and always should be about quests and groups.

thank you for your opinion if I wanted your opinion I'd give it to you

and if it had only 2 for requirement you would be **** sure that I would solo it with a hireling attached at the hip...

DDO stopped being about team work along time ago now it's about the DDO Store so I am promoting free market capatilism

I can think of 1 which requires 2 people in the necro, other than that the rest can be 1 pc and X npc's

Why is it that people want ALL quests be made in one way or the other? (don't answer)
It is entirely possible to have SOME quests soloable and SOME quests group only.

The Tomb of the Burning Heart can be done solo - just use Halt Undead to make the ghouls stand on the pressure plates.

The Tomb of the Shadow Lord just needs a hireling for pulling levers.

The Tomb of the Forbidden just needs a hireling for pulling levers.

The Xorian Cypher just needs a hireling for pulling a lever.

Any quest with a pressure plate will allow you to use an immobile mob for it.

I used to think that too - the last time I posted in a thread about needing one live person to pass the gear back and forth, I was schooled

Turns out, you can unlock the lever without pulling it. Leave your hireling there, then run to the other side. Target their lever and instruct them to use, then pull yours. Easy as pie. Just clear out your side, and call them to you. Eventually, the gates to their side will open so you can clear it out to continue down the hall.

Thanks - I'll fix my post too

Yeah, for some reason I can't keep those quests names straight. I looked up the first two, then wimped out on the 3rd

Still need two warm bodies for the one quest that requires you to trade the key back and forth in Necro III.

Might be Necro II, can't recall, only done both those series once.

Tomb of the Forbidden requires one player and one hireling at minimum.
