Necromancy Focus (item stack?)

Hi all,

with my reicarnated sorc I have the following situation:

greater focus on necromancy
Spectacles of Spirit Sight (+1 necromancy Focus)
random bracers with +1 necromancy Focus


and it stacks. (with braciers DC is 35, without 34)

my question is.. If I craft an epic dusk, and I adding an additiona +1 Necromancy focus, will it stacks?
I don't want to waste 30 epic tokens

Try copying that character over to lamania and testing it there? I'm sure people will be interested in the results if it hasnt been tested already.

good idea.. when I will finish to collect tokens I will test it on lamania then I come back to my server! ty for the idea!

I don't believe SSS should stack with other items. Double check your results. If it does, then this is a bug and will be fixed at some point or heavily exploited. You can get an additional point with the feat spell focus necromancy. A +2 focus from item will stack here.

Agreed, most likely a bug unless you are talking about epic SS goggles, in which case it is a +2 to focus, which is where you could see a difference. If not, using epic items instead of taking up a bracer slot and a goggle slot, try to get the stormreaver's napkin (cloak) from the reaver's raid and this gives you +1 to the DC of all your spells, not just necromancy, and this stacks with feats you may have chosen in the various schools of spells.

just FYI.. I found a bug...

SSS doesn't stack with bracers...

without items I have 34, If I put on SSS DC become 35, if I put bracers too, it doens't add anything.

BUT

if I put off SSS first (DC now come back to 34!) then I put off also bracers it become 33 (worst than my base DC )

But now your question is what sort of bug.. visual only, or are you actually not getting your bonus applied properly.

What you are probably seeing here is some bug associated with the description. Items don't stack in general. It will be tough to actually determine (but not impossible) and require lots of casts at targets to determine their saves.

I would suggest logging off and on and checking your description.
