ATI Crossfire support?

I noticed that both my video cards aren't working when I play DDO. The one that does work only runs at 100% about half the time, about 75% the rest of the time. I'm using two XFX 5850 cards with the latest 10.6 ATI driver. Crossfire works with other games, is there a way to turn it on while playing DDO? If not is there a way to force DDO to use GPU2 instead of GPU1? (GPU2 usually runs about 20 degrees cooler)

Incase anyone is curious, I found I could swap the GPU's in the BIOS with the Gigabyte GA-X58A-UD3R motherboard. Now DDO is using crossfire. It is odd that the GPU's core frequency's aren't always the same. It seems like crossfire would work best if the GPUs were in sync...
