Seriously, almost every buff in the game can be gotten off a clicky. I can farm as many Planar Girds and Visors of the Flesh Render Guards as I want. I can make Min II Shroud items and Stoneskin myself until I'm blue in the face.

There are Amrath Clickies out the rear- I want Barkskin. Full Strength. On a clicky.

What is your big objection to a Barkskin clicky? You seem like you really have some major problem with my suggestion- are you just that argumentative or is there logic in your response?

The reasoning of having Barskin not exist on a clicky is thus:

Natural Armor bonuses in this game are easy to come by......up to +3.


To get +4 or +5 Natural armor you either need to grind a Dragon Touched Rune(+4) or find a Friendly Ranger of appropriate Level(+5).

Kormors belt is not a reliable source of barkskin.

The problem becomes that putting it on a Clicky Item makes that item a must have for EVERY AC toon. That way they can barkskin themselves.

So far in the game full Barkskin has been kept at arms length to non-rangers, I really don't see them putting it in.

I thought StoneSkin and Displacement were a bit over powered myself. The short duration on Displacement and the "Duration" on StoneSkin sort of makes up for their power though.

Fifteen minutes of +5 to your AC is a powerful tool. In my mind thats why we won't see it any time soon.

However, I'm with you and think that its not game breaking or anything...just out lining what I think turbines reasoning is.

I can't recall clicky with anythng usefull for AC builds, that have higher ther minimum caster level.
Best barkskin pot is +4 15 min Yugoloth potion.
So grind it, why would anyone could have maximum strenght barkskin only rangers can cast?
+ You have potions of 4 and +5 barkskin you can get from chests.

Madstoned Rangers are a travesty. Barkskin is where its at boys, don't give up your ability to cast it!

The reason it does not exist is because it would step too much on rangers' and druids' toes, for no good reason other "homogenize classes, please."
