The We Must Have Gnomes Group!

I have played the TableTop D&D for years and have even wasted my time on a little WoW(Sad to say), but anyways I have run across many Dungeons and many games that have a playable Gnome character Race or at least a group of Gnome NPC's. Lots of D&D races are fun from Dragborn to Mindflayer but the one Race that has always stood out to me is the Gnomes, thay are short very spiritual Huminoids that are in touch with the world around them wich always seems to give them a good 1-2+ on the INT and WIZ scores, Gnomes dont need much STR becouse they are small(normaly a outstanding 3-3.5'' tall) granting them a 3-5+ to thier dodge, which as anyone who has ever played a fast combat MMO knows not being hit all the time is a major plus, I can deal with the negitive STR mod. I think Turbine should not replace the Gnome with some Race thats primeraly just human but with small horn like apendages pertruding from there head. The Gnome,Fairy,Half-Orc, and Dragborn are major Races in the Old D&D I am used to and would love to see atleast one of them in DDO in given time. I do not know much about the Eberron system and core rules/play but I trully believe that the TableTop old school game had it down to a science, I was never without something to think up or some way to make an item better if you ever got tired of playing the same old Halfling Lvl 3 Arcane Trickster, I would just role up a ...(To many to name).. Ok time to stop talking about old D&D and talk about the Gnome, they have been for all time my favorite Race with just thier all around FUN good natured attitudes and ther great invintive minds. In my trials throughout D&D, Gnomes have been GREAT Assassins and even Fighters, they are much harder to play as a Warrior class but the adventures you would have playing maybe a Gnome Wizard or Sorceror would be absolutley amazing to me! Another good one would be the Druid or Rouge.


Just looking at these pictures makes me want to play a Gnome in DDO!!!!!!!!!!

I dont know your reasons for NO Gnome Sorc but when I think about it I understand now that would not be good to have so much raw POWER in a little package he/she might BLOW themself up....

Where are the gnomes..... in every game I've played the gnomes are the ones who come up with the crazy ideas.

For example: Exploding Runes Stickers that say "Boom Head-shot"

Still why weren't gnomes added into the game? They are a basic PHB race along with Half-elves and Half-orcs.

I Played a Gnome Necromancer for 10 years in Everquest. I've always loved playing Gnomes from a Roleplaying Aspect. The way i talk act and feel ingame usually follows a gnome like mentality.

If they were to add gnomes in the game i would TR all my Charaters to gnomes.

Also, we cannot put Gnomes in the game for their own safety! I mean, has anyone else noticed how many "chef" mobs we have around?

Got to agree, and Eberron's Gnomes are scary. The Zilargo after all handle law and Order via Secret police, and treat Machiavellian intrigue, black mail, and power brokering as a national pass-time.
