Default I got the same issue..

I just downloaded and installed the game, no problems what so EVER...

But when i try to start the launcher it says that i got an issue with Net 1.1.4322...It says that i have to install the ''right'' version to get it started.

The problem is that i got Net 3.5 or something like it.

I tryed to install the 1.1 SP and all other things simular to it. But when i tryed to install em i got different errors saying i coulden't install them.

Is there no way to solve this issue ?

Same for me. Windows 7 already has .NET Framework 3.5 installed. But launcher does not work: "You need Microsoft .NET Framework 1.1.4322 bla bla bla".
What should I do to launch the game?

Keep in mind there might be some conflicts that come up when you have 3.0/3.5 and 4.0 installed and you try to install 1.1

All you might have to do is temporarily uninstall the later versions, reboot install 1.1 and its service pack (links below) and then reinstall the later ones.

    Microsoft .Net Framework 1.1
    The 1.1 Service Pack (Hotfix)

I wish I could. I can't uninstall .NET Framework in Windows 7. Seems like it is integrated in OS. I don't have that option in my uninstaller list, that's the case. And 1.1 version won't install too because it is not in supported operating systems list. I tried. Error 1305. Nothing works

It does install onto Win7, this one's on the Lotro forums but the thread here was written by a player detailing how to 'slipstream' the 1.1 installs and details alot of the compatibility issues you might run into installing it on Win7

Thanks a lot for your patience and advices!
That thread was very useful for me. That's funny but my trouble was in other case. My C:\User\<MyUser>\AppDate\Temp folder had only <MyUser> rights. When I gave "admin" and "system" rights to it all errors (such as 1305 and 2203) disappeared and 1.1 installed as well. Back in game! Thanks a lot.

I could use some help as well. My problem is I am running Win7 64bit and when I try to install .NET 1.1.4322 it says it cannot install on a Win7 64bit system.

    Any ideas ?
