cant imagine anyone would give a bloodstone for a sirroco. I cant even be bothered to take them out of the chest to vendor them when i pull them. worthless item.

From personal experience, i've ran wizking about 20 times with fulls parties, and is saw it drop once. I actually saw more bloodstone than sirroco if i compare the number of chest open/drop. unfortunatly i never myself pulled a bloodstone. i could probably get a pair of spectral gloves in much less runs really. we started hunting it with friend, already dropped 1 spectral glove in 5 runs for a random guy.

From experienced players i could meet, they value it as much as bloodstone, as it is more rare, and in its epic version it does get heavenly stats. It is even more rare since people like you ignore its real value, and either dont loot them or drop them into broker (where i found my 2nd).

have you took a minute to read at update 5 patch note?
It is still a ML=8 weapon much more usefull than a Paralyzer, paralyzer sell for 50k-100kplat. so considering the ML and effect and rarity. dont tell me its north worth 500k to 1000K. and thats excatly what im being offered (2x large mat or as first offer 400K plat).

of course, i dont pretend they are MAX DPS weapon, but i pretend they are the BEST crowd control weapon at ML=8 and even later, until mosnter get very high Save (when also paralyzer become useless); and epic version is going to be a real epic weapon. Just open your mind and think outside of monster build or SoS builds.

Im myself playing a monster build and the lack of healing is really boring, having to run about with paralyzer when alone because of lack of curative ability (pots/wand is just too slow and boring). i just dream everyday to get to a paladin/ranger build with torc/conc opp. if i was not worried about damaging my sirroco i would always have one in off hand.

weird enough, the offer im getting are mainly from high ranked players from raid guilds....

so if you please, let us in our darkness, we dont want your subjective light

Well since you brought up update 5.

Read this and almost got excited. Then I remembered what update this was.. The one that only nerfs.

Why did you call the new effet "epic telekinetic"

Doesn't that kind of imply that it's an effect that might actually work on epic?
Or that it's a strong effect, or useful one?

Because it's none of these things.

It's DC35. My Barbarian who I consider epic.. Had a DC58 trip. (fully buffed, often in the 53-55 range just standard raged)

His trip never lands on epic.

You expect an item with over 20 lower too?

I tested it out on the nearest quest to the epic altar where I wasted the tokens to re-upgrade the thing for the third time. Incase your unfamiliar with it, the name is "Acid Writ"
CR15 quest. I set it to normal.
Everything in there saved every single time. Every single time. On both the blindness and the "Epic Teleketic"
The blur never helped me much either. Nor did the air guard (tho the fact its a reflex save means it would actually work occoasonally, I just wasnt lucky enough for it to proc I guess).
Infact the only way I could trip anything was the same as always - if I used the trip feat myself, since my own DC is actaully reasonably good.

This item isn't.

also even at lvl 8 this thing is useless. Its a DC 17 Balance check vs a paralyzers dc 17 will save. a monsters balance skill will typically be higher then its will save and as its a skill check having higher then 17 skill will result in never being knocked over, where as a will save will always fail in a 1 regardless of save.

ALSO mobs hit by a paralyzer have to save each time they are hit where as Sirroco's knock over only happens on a crit so even if the saves were the same a paralyzer would be 10 times better then this terrible weapon.

lastly your assessment that paralyzers typically sell for 50-100k plat is laughable as there are dozens on the broker u can buy for their vendor price at any given time.
