Problems Launching the Game

Hello,

I have just recently played the game for about five (5) minutes, and then Windows wanted to restart on me because its a piece of **** as many of you well know. Well, after the restart, I could not find the icon to launch it; and I already reinstalled it before. I tried to search everywhere on my computer for any signs of the installed program (which it is installed, because I could play it before) and tried some troubleshooted questions that I saw using the search on here, but all those attempts were futile. I saw that maybe this program called Turbine Download Manager might be of use, but, of course, Turbine makes it impossible to find it both on its websites and on Google. If anyone can help me and may, please reply back whenever it is convenient.

After reinstalling it for a second time, I managed to right-click the launcher's program while running and clicking on Properties, thus, allowing me to retrieve the hidden path that I could not find otherwise.

The path is:

C:\Program Files\Turbine\

For anyone else using Vista or Windows 7. I hope this helps and I know that trying to get community support around here is like asking the community to jump off a cliff (It is not going to happen).

When I downloaded first time, no problem, played for a couple of hours, the poof, no more ddo, just like you described. I think my computer ate the link that worked. Anyways, I have had nothing but problems since. From not being able to open the program once reinstalled, to not even being able to open the installer due to "another instance of this program running." I was about to pump a couple of bucks into the system before this all started, now I don't even know if I will get to play it again. Any suggestions on where to start?
