WTB +5 Mithral full plate

Looking for a kind soul who will sell +5 mith plate for a reasonable price. I'll pay a great deal but plz don't come back with 250,000+ gp offers, that's as ridiculous as the current AH prices.

+3 mith fp's are in the million gold range.... +5's would be several.

You're deluding yourself otherwise.

You guys are crazy. I have 4 full plate mithral suits for 3 different mid-level toons and paid less than 100,000 gp or 10,000 plat for each at the AH. They are +1 of spell resistance,+2,+3 and +3 lightning guard, respectively.

Price gouging at the AH affects those players who don't have the later game plat or just helps out the gold buyers. I myself just sold another +3 sacred mithral full suit for 10% greater than listed value, and that is how I do all my AH business.
Edit: not all my sales are +10% some are more but I never sell items like weapons or armor for +1000% of value. I like to pay it forward if I can.

So if you want to think I'm a sucker or looking for a sucker go ahead. I have my own thoughts on prices and the AH and this forum is not for that discussion, just a place to buy/sell/trade.

I am sorry if I offended you. Seriously. And i am not trying to scam you, I don't have the armor to sell. I was just trying to be helpful and lend you my experience. I have played for 4 years and have only pulled 2 or 3 pair of +5 mithral in that time. I have never seen +5 mithral for less than 100k plat on the ah In that time. Hope that helps you somehow.

Please note that base value of items is based on slot and minimum level to equip. The formulas that produce random items sometimes spit back the same items with different minimum levels: ML:14 or ML: 16 deathblock robes of heavy fort. Obviously the one with the lower base price is more valuable!

Similarly, the game treats greater vermin bane the same as greater chaotic outsider bane...and values my +5 ghost touch longbow of greater undead bane the same as if it were greater vermin bane! Good luck finding ghostly vermin...

Individual metal types add to usefulness, but not ML.

Base price is correlated to value the way foot size is correlated to spelling ability.

That said I bought my +5 mithril plate for 50,000gp. Of course, it was practically useless, as it was only equipable on elves (at ML:4, which lowers its base price).

Let me put this out there which I should of done from the start and that was my bad - I am willing to pay 150-200,000gp with some gear thrown in - all gear would be base value of over 30,000gp.

Perhaps the plat and 3 gear items.

That would put my offer up around 300k gp.

Does that sound reasonable?

I just can't afford 1 mill in gold right now.

The lowest I've ever heard or seen a +5 MFP go for is 5 million gold.

I'm not trying to be a **** or insult you... I'm just telling you my experience and what I've seen.

If you can find someone to take your offer, do so.
