We'd have to make sure we had Freedom of Movement, as I assume it would breathe grease. Firewall would be a highly effective weapon, though it would create splash damage occassionally from the constant spattering.

In fact, I think if you do enough fire damage all players should be hypnotized. Because seriously, who could concentrate when smelling that much cooking bacon...

And in the spirit of this monster, I proudly link the mother of all bacon treats...the "Bacon Explosion".

Yes, we have systems that can do many things automatically. But, we usually don't stop there -- in order to give traps that extra crispy bacony goodness, we go in and add behaviors that aren't part of the standard package. If you think of any favorite traps in DDO, I bet there's some Dev's extra love behind it.

Tie... the fake hidden door trap in Foundations or the Pit and the Pendulum style traps in Sins.

Keeper, I know you started as an artist and eventually became a content designer. In your day to day job, are you purely a content designer or some sort of artist-designer hybrid? In other words, do you just build stuff or you also create art assets from time to time?

That's all I got from you? You could have tossed out a well conceived critique on Guild Rewards, Structure, or Advancement. Blasting me or my point of view(or agreeing!). But instead all I turn out to be, is a crunchy side show with ketchup, and bacon.

I apparently need to learn to ask better questions, to try and get the devs to troll around me.

Well, then if you think WE have so much fun in such environments too, I'll be waiting for more info . I really think that would be great in DDO - we already have instancing, making it more "live" could be an outstanding idea and very a fun (plus unexpected) change. I'm counting this is in the works, even while I know it may not be, ever.

Are there peep-holes in the walls that you guys are watching us through?

I spent my first years at Turbine in the art department, but I am now strictly a level-builder. Sometimes I get to tell the artists exactly what I need, and they make it for me, but I don't actually make art any more. However, what I do still leans heavily to the visual side of things. My job is the grown-up version of playing with Legos all day.
