    Default Dev Posting Analysis

Given the relative quiet from the Devs, I thought a little analysis on the Dev postings to the Lamannia forumsover the last two weeks was in order. Dates are by GMT, because that is what they use....

For the period June 3-June 16:

    Highest daily total posts:
    Friday June 4 - 42
    Friday June 11 - 22
    Thursday June 10 - 18
    Monday June 7 - 18
    Thursday June 3 - 17

Here's hoping to a bump in postings this today and tomorrow.

    Who posts the most:
MadFloyd wins this one with 44
    Eladrin second with 39
    Tarrant third at 32
Tolero fourth at 27 (but 20 of those were on June 3rd and 4th)
Phax is a distant fifth at 12.

While most devs take a break for the weekend, two continue to update: MadFloyd with 11 and Eladrin with 7.

Tarrant gets the early poster award with a significant number of posts before 11 AM GMT, so either he's using a handheld in bed, or he isn't getting much sleep...

Hopefully this will put a smile on someone's face.

However, sometimes their postings show in the DevTracker Tab. That's why they were included.

There are a few hours left in the day, but we are up to 18 posts.

Phax evidently didn't like being fifth doubling posts from 12 to 24. Tolero is just a few ahead.

E3 also can be sucking their time. I dunno what their representation is there, but I am sure there is one.

Patience hinted that only Kate Paiz and Adam Mersky are at E3.

Ouch. I'm not who you think I am. At least one other name is incorrect too... but which one(s)?

And now I've got one more post too! For a grand total of, oh, what, three? Correction, four!

Hehe, I bet Borror0 trapped you to validate his list and its awesome 4 total post. Seems Borror0 has some kind of magic in his posts to reveal even long hidden Devs to pop up on the Forum. Very nice

btw: with this update this post come to live ... and I still believe its all a lie with the Urn!

    * We have collectable bags, mind you, even hireling folders, but can I have that 6-pack for my potions please?
    * Having already a past life on the dieng EU servers, I rerolled here and started from scratch as I like the game and the community, so lets see what awaits me here

Only 1 in the two week period. However, your post made me notice something odd.

While the threads themselves timestamp everything with GMT, the Dev Trackers forum has them in GMT -4. As a result, Tarrant must be getting plenty of sleep. His posts start at 10 AM in GMT -4, not 10 AM in GMT.

Okay then I got Flimsy wrong too, which means that Ricardo Liu and Charles Miles are two senior content designers have not posted on the forums yet. I can't have inverted the two of use because, according to Charles Miles' LinkedIn, he started at Turbine in August 2008 which is much after FlimsyFirewood's forum join date.

The two of you were the ones I was unsure of.

Indeed. It was part of the plan.

btw Borro0 I miss in the list some entries:

    Torc - Developer - ???

SIG - Online Operations (maybe a group account for the Server Admin Team)
404error - Quality Assurance (maybe a group account for the Quality Team)

    and for sure

Cubethulu - *squish*splash*squish* (well, they free it once in a while from his cage in the cellar of the headquarter)

Why do the Devs still have Rep on the Llama threads?
Khyber - Officer in The Stormreach Thieves Guild
    Steeles (TR 1 Paladin 20 / 8 Epic - TWF) - Steeley (Monkadin - Pal 18/Monk 2/ 8 Epic - Unarmed) - Steeltruhart (TR1 Paladin 17 - S&B Bastardsword) - Steelforged (Pal 20 / 8 Epic - SWF) - Steeltruhurt (TR1 - Pal 8 / Ftr 2 - THF) Steelsouls (Clr 17 / Pal 3 /8 Epic)

I forgot both Torc and Piloto who, although they have not posted in quite a while, I know are still working there. No idea of their real names.

I skipped them along with the marketing team (which includes CMs) because they are not designers.

It is only the Community Managers like Tolero, Tarrant and Patience who have opted out. The rest of the team can still receive and give reputation.

so that we can give them cookies for posting us some information

But I guess its just that they are in a different User Group that is still able to get/give Rep.

I'd like to be in the one where guild airships have some more functionality for the peasant class, getting the oar all the time, well...not so good.
