    Default Dev Posting Analysis

Given the relative quiet from the Devs, I thought a little analysis on the Dev postings to the Lamannia forumsover the last two weeks was in order. Dates are by GMT, because that is what they use....

For the period June 3-June 16:

    Highest daily total posts:
    Friday June 4 - 42
    Friday June 11 - 22
    Thursday June 10 - 18
    Monday June 7 - 18
    Thursday June 3 - 17

Here's hoping to a bump in postings this today and tomorrow.

    Who posts the most:
MadFloyd wins this one with 44
    Eladrin second with 39
    Tarrant third at 32
Tolero fourth at 27 (but 20 of those were on June 3rd and 4th)
Phax is a distant fifth at 12.

While most devs take a break for the weekend, two continue to update: MadFloyd with 11 and Eladrin with 7.

Tarrant gets the early poster award with a significant number of posts before 11 AM GMT, so either he's using a handheld in bed, or he isn't getting much sleep...

Hopefully this will put a smile on someone's face.

Tolero and Tarrant are not Devs, btw. They're community...guys.

However, sometimes their postings show in the DevTracker Tab. That's why they were included.

There are a few hours left in the day, but we are up to 18 posts.

Phax evidently didn't like being fifth doubling posts from 12 to 24. Tolero is just a few ahead.

E3 also can be sucking their time. I dunno what their representation is there, but I am sure there is one.

Patience hinted that only Kate Paiz and Adam Mersky are at E3.

Well… they DID have a “Cause Mr. Tolero said so” lottery on my.ddo a few weeks back. I was going to put up a post asking Tolero if she wanted to explain something. But then I realized that I probably didn’t want to know.
Things worthy of Standing Stone going EXTREME PREJUDICE™ on.:
    • Epic and Legendary Mysterious ring upgrades, please.
    • Change the stack size of filigree in the shared bank to 50. The 5 stack makes the shared bank worthless for storing filigree in a human usable manner.
    • Fixing why I don't connect to the chat server for 5 minutes when I log into a game world.
    • Fixing the wonky Lightning Sphere and Tactical Det firing by converting them to use alchemist spell arcing.
    • Redoing the drop rates of tomes in generic and raid loot tables.

I believe I remember a post by Tolero refering to offspring, hence, there could be a Mr. Tolero......

So, do you have him trained to feed The Cube?

Heh. I think that lottery was up because Mr. Tolero aka Tolero's husband, wanted that lottery. It wasn't referring to Tolero, but instead to her spouse.

I'm pretty sure that QuantumFX got that and is trying to be funny.

At the moment, the Red Fens. Thanks for asking! I’ve been wanting to do a proper verdant wetland, rather than the standard icky dark mucky miserable swamp-monster swamp that is so often seen in fantasy settings. Wetlands are vastly underappreciated for both their beauty and their utility. They have such a undeserved bad reputation that they had to be re-branded as “water gardens” to get homeowners to include them in their landscapes. I’ll have to write about this in my blog sometime. . . perhaps once I’m back from my vacation.

Sorry guys, I’ve already read the (angry ranty) feedback on the airship towers, and I’m not going to touch that topic in this thread.

Vacation? They let you go on vacation a week before go live? Just kidding.

Isn't there anything you can comment on in the Red Fens Sticky like walking through rocks and things that look landable and aren't, or is something else meant by visuals?
