    Default Acetylene 11ranger/8bard/1fighter with AA

    Hay peps-

    I have been working on this build for awhile (lv17) and haven't seen any like this (if I missed one let me know). I though I would share it and get some feedback  I am about to make my first item for this character (not sure if HP or Spellpoint CHR skill item first…)


    The purpose of this build is do support/buff with (8 LV Warchanter Bard) and then contribute to DPS afterwards (11 LV Ranger). AA comes late (lv20) going right to Slaying arrows. You could get the lower level AA stuff early if you changed up the feats / class selections. I was considering giving up Improved Crit Ranged and dropping the fighter LV (12ranger/8 bard), but thought I would get more bang out of keeping it.


    All level ups points into STR-

    The level up sequence is important.
    LV 1 Bard – Skill Points
    LV 2-7 Ranger – Manyshot – Two-weapon fighting feats
    LV 8-12 Bard – Gets Warchanter at 12
    LV 13-15 Ranger – Evasion at 15.
    LV 16 Bard – Haste and Good Hope
    LV 17-18 Ranger – get all the Ranger 11 feats 
    LV 19 Fighter - Extra Feat for AA
    Lv 20 Bard - Skill points catch up from fighter LV (UMD, perform, etc)

    I have been running this at LV 19 now and having a blast

    I wanted to improve upon was the bard buffing aspect, so I made the following tweaks to the build ... going 11 ranger 9 bard.

    Thanks for the feedback...

    A few thoughts-

    To be AA - you need to be elf or Helf to keep the level spilt.
    LV 11 ranger gets all the bow feats and TWF feats - don't have to worry about DEX as much
    You can go either IC-P or IC-S - with the recent game changes it is less important now
    When solo running - I use a rapier/dagger - good of life stealing - that and displacement work well

    The last class - fighter was for HP and a feat - as you pointed out - others would work well with 11ranger/8bard spit.

    Default Acetylene II

    Hay peps-

    I haven’t updated this build for awhile and was thinking of how the addition of Half-Elves may work quite well for this type of character.

    Therefore : Acetylene II

    I chose the Paladin Dilettante for the increase saves, but you could shift a build point to DEX and get the Rogue Dilettante a little extra DPS.

    A nice bump in HP – a little more STR as well
